What is the BbY WOW dance? The trend, explained

The BbY WOW dance is a four-beat party routine — walk in, bite, spin, point — that Venezuelan trio LOS MENOR3S put on TikTok in August 2026. Big Bowe filmed himself dancing to KAROL G's 'BbY WOW' backstage at a Rawayana concert and posted it on 24 August 2026. That post is where the trend starts.

It is the same dance that Spanish-speaking TikTok calls Dime Dime Baby, after the caption Big Bowe wrote under the clip. If you searched for either name, you are looking at the same four beats.

The four beats

The clip everyone copies comes from a quinceañera — a fifteenth birthday party — and it runs like this:

1. 1The walk-in. A young man in a black cowboy hat steps out of the crowd onto the purple-lit dance floor.
2. 2The bite. He takes a bite of a sweet bread and stands there with puffed cheeks.
3. 3The spin. He turns and moves off through the guests.
4. 4The point. He turns back and points straight down the lens.

That original clip circulated in June and July 2025, then resurfaced in October 2026 on the song's audio — and that second wave is the one that turned it into a template everybody re-performs.

Why there are two names

Because the trend crossed languages, and each side named it after what it could see:

Both names sit on the same hashtag family: #bbywow, #babywow, #dimedimebaby, #maestroshifu, #karolg. By 14 October 2026 the #bbywow tag alone counted roughly 109,000 videos and 848 million views.

The song underneath

'BbY WOW' is by KAROL G with Judeline and rusowsky, from Karol G's 2026 album 'No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto'. The track interpolates the Coolie Dance riddim from 2003 — the same beat behind Pitbull and Lil Jon's 'Culo' — and it spent more than a month in Spotify's Global Top 50.

The trend then grew beyond TikTok: KAROL G joined LOS MENOR3S on the dance at her Viajando Por El Mundo Tour show in Boston on 12 September 2026, and the routine has since been copied by football players and creators worldwide.

What the AI versions do

There is no native TikTok filter for this dance, so every AI version out there works the same way: your photo becomes the dancer, and a prepared clip supplies the four beats, the lighting and the camera push. The model is not copying your movements — it is re-performing the prepared scene against your face as the character reference.

That is also why the photo quality decides the result. The longer explanation is in how to make the video, and the photo rules are in the photo tips.

If you have been reading about both names and want to know whether they are the same product, that question has its own answer: Dime Dime Baby vs BbY WOW.
